Brenden Praise is a South African R&B/Soul and House singer, pianist, composer and producer.

Widely known for his recent Platinum selling South African Music Awards Nominated Record “Joy Joy” (2018) with house Duo Black Motion. Brenden Praise has a versatile vocal style, blending soul with a pop sensibility. With the knowledge of Contemporary music and professional training, Brenden is well-versed in studio production. Aside from singing, Brenden also produces music, and writes for other artists.

Brenden Praise is a South African soulful singer who has won the hearts of thousands. Randall Abrahams once stated that he “makes young girls imagine they were women and old women imagine they were young girls.” The heart-throb is a singer and is well versed in mixing and studio production.

Brenden, from a young age, immersed himself in music and has mastered contemporary music.

Aside from that, his professional training also gives him an edge in music production. Brenden has always been passionate about music because he is from a musical family. He started singing at the tender age of five, and by the age of twelve, he started playing the piano.

He quickly developed an ear for good music. With the knowledge he has acquired from experience over the years and the training he received while studying at Emendy Sound and Music Technology College, he is able to compose his songs and produce music while making beats.

Brenden Praise Idols season 9 also gave him an advantage in his music career. He became the runner-up behind Musa Sukwene, who took the victory with slightly over 1,000 votes. Brenden took home R10,000 worth of fashion vouchers from Truworths. He has had several nominations over the past few years. Brenden Praise nominations include:

Brenden is happily married to the famous business lady Nompumelelo, who is popularly known as Mpoomy. The wife with a self-made business empire has had a long journey filled with many trials and hardships that made her who she is today. The two got married in January 2017 and have been blessed with two children. Brenden Praise baby boy was born in 2020, and the older girl was born in 2018.
