Born and raised in the south of Johannesburg, South Africa, Yiorgos (George) began DJ’ing in 1998 on an old Gemini 626 and mismatched turntables…

In his early 20’s Yiorgos found a love for and became infatuated with deeper, darker, melodic, minimal underground rhythms and driving bass-lines influenced and inspired by the legendary Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Frankie Knuckles and Danny Tenaglia, 2lani The Warrior and Steve Bug, to name but a few.

The undertones and resonances in his track selection reflect his unique multicultural heritage (Greek, Afro & Egypto-Arabic).

Yiorgos has featured on Whitey Divine’s D’Vibe Rekords Radio, Culture Connection Radio (NYC), Sultry Sounds with AbouT_Time (UK), Underground Kollektiv Radio (UK), Ibiza Stardust Radio, the Phonic Escape hosted Laminin Music and Deep House Auckland.
