Weston & Engine (WE) are an electronic music duo from Johannesburg, South Africa.A diverse combination of talent , skill and hard work has brought these two inspired musicians together.

Formulated in December 2012, the duo have found new life and respect in each other with their respective influences and tastes in sound.Their sound can be described as a deep, emotive, driving and progressive sonic space fused with a combination of rolling grooves, warm melodies and powerful bass lines.”It is a little known fact that the brain waves of two musicians synchronize when they are working in harmony. This is never more prevalent than in the soundscape created by this inspirational duo. A musical entity founded on respect for each other’s individual influences and tastes in sound.”

Some of their inspirations come from music across the board- jazz, blues, classical, trip hop, hip hop, garage, house music and progressive.

WE have had the pleasure to have been booked for most of Johannesburg’s biggest underground events and festivals amongst others across Durban and Cape Town.
