Ricky Kgongwana aka Rick Koen formally known as MfanO Da_R-Deep is a producer, Dj and label owner of Rare Basic Recordings and an ever-evolving self. He has been running his own imprint since late 2020.

Yet to be what it will become; a student of the game. An open-minded artist with a plethora of musical influences. Young man from the west of Pretoria, South Africa.

He’s one experienced lad who has released his craft under Just Move Records, Edition Limitee Black Label, just to name a few.

As the he is the boss of his own label, in 2020 he released a stellar 3 track deep house Ep titled Floor From Underground EP, of which is the first catalogue entry for the label. He definitely made things clear of what the label is all about, the deeper ends of house!
