#ProducersCorner – Artwork Sounds

Artwork Sounds members consist of George Lesley and Soultronixx. George Lesley Theko who hails from Sebokeng in the Vaal, is a Bass Guitarist, DJ and a Music producer.

George Lesley started playing the keyboard at church where he gained his music experience and was able to learn and perfect his art. He is a full-time Mafikizolo bass player. He was also a session musician for artists such as Vusi Nova, Nathi Mankayi & Donald.

Rofhiwa Soultronixx Ndou who hails from Venda, from a village called Dzanani, is a producer and DJ.

He has worked with some of the world’s greatest artists like ,N’Dinga Gaba, Maurice Eclectic, Doug Gomez and DJ Pope to name a few, who happen to have also worked with George Lesley.

He started his music career in the city of Johannesburg, where he spent most of his teenage years. It is there where he picked up his love for music. It was also in Johannesburg, where he met with George Lesley and they both decided to work together on a full time basis.

Artwork Sounds has been dominant in the Soulful House charts with their releases namely, Love is Real Feat Dearson, You Give Me Love & Time is Now, reaching the number 1 spot on the music digital platform known as Traxsource. Artwork Sounds released their long awaited and most anticipated debut album called “Nothing better”.

It features the likes of some of our country’s well known producers & Dj’s, such as Oscar Mbo and June Jazzin just to name a few. It held the number 1 spot on the digital platforms for weeks on end. This duo is a force to be reckoned with and they are here to stay.
